In 2005 the Oaks won the State Championship and placed 3rd in the West Region. The Oaks went undefeated in the state tournament and beat eventual World Series participant Novato Knicks twice in the process, highlighted by a 14 inning marathon in the championship game.

The Oaks were honored by the Bay Area Hot Stove Banquet Committee for their 2005 season. The award was for the Outstanding Amateur Organization in the Semi Pro category.
